In terms of social and psychological services, the Newman Family Support Center helps mothers with pre- and postnatal care and provides referrals to local health care professionals. Visitors to the center can network with fellow patients and receive counseling in areas such as vocational training, legal assistance, entitlements, and more.
The Newman Family Support Center organizes a wide range of annual events, from summer fun picnics and carnivals to Races for Faces and a winter holiday party. It also sponsors a bullying awareness and educational outreach program, which educates young students about facial difference and raises awareness of the social stigma surrounding it.
